I had such an amazing experience at Deer Park Nails! 💕 The older Asian lady was so sweet and did my nail shape perfectly, and the younger lady did my design and it came out BEAUTIFUL! They even stayed after closing just to make sure my prom nails were perfect. The store closes at 7:30 and I left later than that, but they never rushed me. The service was truly amazing and I’ve never had a nail salon go above and beyond like they did. Definitely recommend!
I’ve been going to Deer Park Nails for over a year. At first I got a powder dip manicure but when it started getting expensive I decided to just stick with basic manicures and pedicures. I was happy with the work and was a consistent customer. I scheduled appointments and was always on time, if not early. Unfortunately, there were two occasions that the nail technician was double booked. The first time this happened I agreed to have someone else do my nails, but the second time this happened I walked out. They had me waiting for over a half an hour. After 20 minutes I got up and said that I’d come back but the nail technician said that she was polishing and would be just a few more minutes. Another customer walked into the salon and stated she also had an appointment with the same nail technician, she was told that I was waiting but the customer still sat in her chair. The owner walked out and asked that if I’d like her to do my nails. I don’t get furious easy but this pushed me over the edge. I scheduled my appointment with a certain nail tech- I wasn’t going to step aside after waiting 45 minutes to let someone else take my place. I walked out- my feelings are that if an establishment doesn’t adhere to appointments and respect me as a long-term customer, my money is good elsewhere. Sorry DP Nails, but you just lost yourselves a good customer.
Iris did my gel manicureand she is so talented. She did the whole process carefully and gently. She made sure I liked my nails throughout the process. Highly recommend.
Ive had two great experiences here but yesterday I paid $35 for a design that I hate because the nail technician couldn’t execute it correctly. All service providers need to understand this simple principal: do not say you can do something if you can’t!! This is a design I’ve gotten on my nails before at another nail salon in the city. It’s simple enough to execute. Just a bunch of lines. The technician I had yesterday was likely color blind. The entire time I was having to help her with her colors and she completely used the wrong base. She used a purple/pink instead of a nude that would make the design pop. In total I paid $95+ tip for this poly gel refill and design. So they’re pretty pricey. I won’t be back after this experience. However, the last two times I went I had a great experience with adequate nail technicians who could do designs and match colors to a picture. It’s been months since I’ve been there so it was a lot of new faces and a lack in quality. Attached my nails from previous visits with better techs.
I went to this place yesterday just needing to get a polish change because I had gotten my nails done two days before at a different place For a simple Color change on my nails and a pedicure it was by father worst I somehow allowed him to convince me that I needed a complete filling because they hadn’t done a decent job two days prior which I didn’t see but I figured if he sees an imperfection, let him just fix it. It’s fine. He/toni ruined my nails And as far as the pedicure, it was the worst I even tried to assist him and still the results are horrific $106 later and now I have to go get my nails done today I went because the reviews were really good. It says the place is under new management and I guess that was a bad choice. Maybe the old management was better but this was the worst nail experience I’ve ever had. I paid him and walked out without even getting Polish on my feet because I knew I needed to go someplace else to repair what he had so Nonchalantly ruined 16 HOURS LATER, I AM NOW FORCED TO GO AND SPEND ANOTHER HUNDRED DOLLARS
